Ethnic Minorities

We recognise cultural differences and have multi-lingual staff. Patients who struggle with English can request a free translator at reception for their appointment.

Chaperones

Committed to a safe, supportive environment, we offer chaperones during appointments to ensure patient comfort and dignity.

1 Problem per Appointment

For clinical safety, appointments should only be used for a single issue. If you have multiple issues, please ask for a double appointment.

Book an Appointment

Urgent appointments

For urgent cases and sick children, call the surgery as soon as possible to schedule a same-day appointment.

You will be asked to share your issue, which helps us plan, and your information always stays confidential.

Patients without an appointment may be asked to wait longer until the doctor can find time to see them, as appointments are heavily booked in beforehand.

How to book

Extended Access

We also have extended access available. See our Out of Hours information.

Routine appointments

Ways to book

  1. Download the NHS App
  2. Request an appointment online
  3. Use our online services

Sickness Certificates (Fit Notes)

You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.

Home Visits

Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

If you need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 11am.

Telephone: 020 8962 8700

Home visits are only available for those who are housebound or too ill to visit the practice.

Community nurses can visit if referred by your GP, and health visitors will visit new parents or families with children under 5 if newly registered with a GP.

Change or Cancel an Appointment

Patients must arrive on time for their appointments. If you cannot attend, please inform us as soon as possible so we can allocate your slot to someone else.

Arriving 10 minutes late means you will need to re-book. Missed appointments without notice are unfair and will be noted in your record.

Important

Patients who miss 3 or more appointments in a year will be removed from the surgery.

To cancel your appointment:

  1. Phone us on 020 8962 8700
  2. Cancel using our online services
  3. Use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)

Out of Hours

Extended Access

We offer pre-bookable appointments at St Charles Hospital Extended Hours Hub to see a GP. This is part of a Extended Hours Service commissioned by us and other West London practices.

The appointments can only be booked via the practice and are with a GP.

Appointments are available:

  • Monday to Friday: 6pm to 9pm
  • Saturday: 8am to 8pm
  • Sunday: 6pm to 9pm

We would highly recommend the use of these appointments especially after the end of the Walk-In service. They are highly under utilized and are always available.

These appointments are only available for patients registered to a West London Practice and can only be booked via the practice.

Enhanced Access Hubs

Important

Walk-ins are not allowed within the Enhanced Access HUBs.

The Enhanced Access HUBs within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea offer our locally registered patients additional access to services in the evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

They provide a range of appointments at the HUBs that we can refer you to.

Opening Times

  • Monday to Friday: 6:30pm to 9pm
  • Weekends: 8am to 8pm
